The Food Science and Human Nutrition Department at the University of Illinois provides this tool which is intended to empower individuals to select a nutrient dense diet.
The data comes from the USDA's National Nutrient Database for Standard Reference (release 16), and is supplemented by additional listings provided by restaurants and food manufacturers. The exact source for each individual food item is listed in the footnotes of that food's analysis page.
